Our vision:

We imagine a future where people gather to make culture freely, where creativity is a form of liberation, and where joy, experimentation, and belonging replace profit and transaction as the foundations of social life.

Our Core Values

  • Using art, expression, and gathering to imagine and build new worlds.

  • Rethinking what is possible for ourselves and our community.

  • Deconstructing expectations and norms to create new ways of being together.

  • Culture made by the people, for the people in a space that feels like home.

  • People over profit, a public space not centered on transactions.

 FAQs

  • We invite our neighbors and community members to get involved with manyworld by attending events, becoming a member, renting the space, pitching ideas for new events, or joining one of our volunteer committees.

  • Membership is optional at manyworld! Non-members are welcome to attend public events.

Joining manyworld as a member is a way to show support for this project and help us cover our costs so we can keep adding new programming and opportunities for community members to bring their ideas to life in the space. Members also get perks like free merch and discounts on space rentals! To learn more about membership, click here.

  • While manyworld sometimes hosts shows, we’re currently only doing these louder events occasionally as we test the waters and build relationships with our neighbors. We’re not able to accept direct booking requests from bands at this time.

We do have more capacity for quieter music-focused events such as songwriting circles, synth workshops, etc.

Building info:

The building has three external doors. The front door and side door have no stairs; the back door has four stairs leading down into the building and a wood handrail. These are the only stairs in the building. There is a small (about 1 inch) concrete lip outside the front door that may be difficult to navigate with some mobility devices. The side door is much smoother.

There is a single bathroom in the building. It is fairly small, at about 60×53 inches, and its door is 22 inches wide. Its size may make it inaccessible to people who use some mobility devices, including wheelchairs. There is a small grab bar installed next to the toilet.

There is a more accessible public bathroom in the neighboring building (back entrance of the Corvallis Bike Collective, across the alley); keyholders are able to give people access to this bathroom during manyworld events that take place outside bike collective business hours.

There will be plentiful seating options available at all times.

There is a community garden adjacent to manyworld that is open to the public as long as people continue to treat it with respect. The ground is covered in gravel/pebbles.

Please do not bring pets to manyworld. Service dogs are welcome.
