Art Gallery Reception: Shea Pedersen
Check out our first art exhibit, featuring work by local artist Shea Pedersen! Shea will be giving a brief talk about their experience as an aid worker in Gaza earlier this year. All art sales during the exhibit will support their return trip to the West Bank this fall.

Still life drawing group, open to all skill levels and styles! No instruction, just making art together for a couple hours. New object compositions to interpret however you like each time. Bring your own supplies or use ours (we have basic supplies like paper, pencils, markers, etc.).

Mending Cafe
Bring your clothes and other fabric items in need of repair, and learn how to fix them using hand sewing techniques with Michelle from Fifth Generation Sewing! Masks are required & provided.

Impermanence: A Torn Art Workshop
Discover the transformative power of collage! Students will start by painting broad swaths of color, exploring texture, layering, and color theory. Then, using a process called torn art, students will tear their painted papers and reassemble them into expressive landscape collages. Students will also have the opportunity to add detail to their scenes by designing and carving their own foam stamps.
With a focus on process, experimentation, and creativity, this class invites students to embrace change.
This workshop is free for all ages and no registration is required. Supplies provided.

A letter-writing event to acknowledge the International Day of Solidarity with Antifascist Prisoners.
ALTERATIONS: introductions to sewistry with Liz Olson
Learn the basics of DIY clothing alterations, measuring your dimensions, and tailoring clothes to fit your body. Bring your projects and your questions.
