Tool Library
Opening Saturday, June 27th, 2-4PM!
manyworld is hosting a tool library for our community.
Our mission is to empower our community to build and maintain the world we want to live in, through sharing resources and skills.
Tool libraries allow community members to repair and care for their homes, gardens, bikes and cars without the high cost of ownership, maintenance, or storage space for tools. Others might check out tools they would only use ocassionally for a project here and there.
The manyworld Tool Library also creates a social space for people to learn and teach each other skills to shape and reshape our built world. Meanwhile, we reduce the need to buy more stuff, we support a culture of repair and maintenance, and we divert tools and broken things from waste stream.
We are open on Saturdays from 2-4pm at manyworld for checking out and returning items. Come to circulation days to apply for a library account so you can reserve tools using our online circulation website.
The manyworld Tool Library is open on Saturdays from 2-4PM starting June 27.

There is also a small sliding scale rental price ($1-10) for some of the more valuable tools. Please take a look at the library catalog for more information.
If this is a hardship for you, please reach out to discuss other options.
