How can the practice of "noticing" guide us in our daily lives, and how can poetry be one way to notice? What happens when we pay close attention-- through writing-- to the body, the mind, those around us, and the world? Does the practice of "attentive writing" influence how we see, and react, to what's happening in our lives and communities? In this meeting, we'll pair light readings with casual discussion and generative prompts to source common understandings of the arts of poetic noticing.
